So I picked up the DVD. Watched the special features.
That's some of the best special features I've seen on a DVD recently. It was especially interesting to watch all the creature coreography and costumes. I never would've guessed the armless creature was actually done entirely in costume and make-up. They had me fooled. I thought it was mostly CG material. I personally wanted to see more of the training and practice the nurse actresses had to put in. I can't imagine all the work those dancers had to put in... Walking all awkwardly, posing in an uncomfortable stance, acting out action scenes when they basically can't see a thing through the mask. But I was very happy with the content none the less.
Anyway. Nurses. Those disturbingly sexy nurses. Very very difficult for me to express those nurses by artwork... Maybe I'll try to go with a lineart version next time. I'm gonna admit, I got very lazy and did a messy job with the nurse on the left. I spent all my effort on the nurse you see on the right (Is it just me or did the last 2 sentences sound kinda dirty?).
Hopefully a second film is coming up so those nurses can have another appearance (and the Red Pyramid of course).
The stylization of this work, and the color scheme really fits the picture. Yea, I can definitely tell the parts you really worked on and parts you just kinda slapped on--regardless if it has any dirty connontations to it, heheh. I definitely gotta watch that movie sometime...
I still think it's an excellent piece of art work and you should really keep it up (^-^)!
They need to make a second movie, but accoring to an article in the latest edition of GI, they're not going to. But, i can still hope and pray. God knows it would sell well.
The special features were awesome. Just the work all of those actors were willing to go through to make this movie happen was amazing in and of itself. I thought everything was CG'd as well, but then when I saw the features... They brought those characters to life!
The nurses' dance thingie was cool. I wanna learn it...
Nice pic, btw. ^_^ The nurses pose quite a challenge, but you captured them well.
Wow that's great pic there ^^ Good work! And those nurses were damn scary lol And the noises they made, their jerky movements, and sharp sharp knives in their hands...yeah, scaryyyyyy @.@

What is the terror of Death?
That we die, our work incomplete.
What is the joy of life?
To die, knowing our task is done.
In each of us there burns a soul of a warrior
